Privacy Policy

Gable is a home-selling service in development. This site runs a waitlist so we can learn whether Texas homeowners want it. We collect what you tell us in the quiz, plus a few technical details to keep out spam. We don’t sell your information. We use Meta’s ad tools to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads.
What you tell us
When you use the quiz or join the waitlist, you give us:
- Your home address.
- Details about the home: type, bedrooms, bathrooms, condition, and who lives there.
- Your selling timeline and a rough price range.
- Your plans for photos, and whether you’re working with an agent.
- Your email address.
What we collect automatically
When you submit the quiz, we also record:
- Your IP address and the approximate country and region it points to.
- Your browser and device type, and the page that sent you to us.
- How long you spent before submitting.
- Simple counts of mouse moves, key presses and screen taps, and whether your device has a touch screen.
We don’t record what you type outside the quiz answers or where you click. The counts only help us tell real people from automated sign-ups. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs of page requests, which include IP addresses and the addresses of the pages visited.
Cookies and tracking
Our homepage and quiz use the Meta Pixel. It sets a cookie and tells Meta which of our pages you visit and when you join the waitlist, so we can measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may connect this to your Meta account under its own privacy policy.
When you join the waitlist, our server also sends Meta a hashed (scrambled) copy of your email address, your city and state, your IP address and browser details through Meta’s Conversions API. We don’t send Meta your home address, details about your home, your timeline or your price range.
You can manage ads from Meta in your Facebook ad preferences, or email us to ask that we stop sending your information to Meta. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load. We don’t currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
How we use it
- To measure interest in Gable by area, price range and timeline.
- To email you about Gable, including when we open in your county.
- To shape the service we’re building.
- To spot and remove spam sign-ups.
- To measure how well our ads work.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the waitlist, such as our website host and our email provider, and with Meta to measure our ads as described above. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
We won’t pass your details to a real estate brokerage, vendor or other partner without asking you first.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information while the waitlist is active. If we decide not to launch in your area, we’ll delete it or ask whether you want to stay in touch. Server logs are kept by our host for a short period.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email.
- Ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you. We’ll respond within 30 days.

Children
This site isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date. If a change affects how we use information you’ve already given us, we’ll email the waitlist before it takes effect.
